“Say It’s Possible” and Jay Brannan

   “Say It’s Possible” was song that was first introduced via Youtube video in June of 2006. It was the first single of singer/songstress Terra Naomi. She had written the song just five days previous. The YouTube video garnered millions of hits. The song has been covered on YouTube in a variety of different styles and languages. The song/video won the first YouTube Video Award in the category Best Music in 2007.

Here, Jay Brannan and Terra team up for a duet that appears to take place at a small intimate setting or listening party singing her original hit single.

Brannan, himself, built his music career by performing songs in his studio apartment and posting them on Youtube and on his personal web site. In March 2007, Brannan provided four of his songs for sale on Myspace. These were followed by his first EP “Unmastered” and his first full length album Goddamned, produced by Will Golden, released on iTunes July 1, 2008.

Now Brannan is gearing up to shocase his new album “In Living Color” on July 7th. In addition to two original songs, the album will contain seven covers ranging from ‘Zombie,’ by the Cranberries, to Bob Dylan’s ‘Blowin’ in the Wind.’ Fans will have a chance to hear the tunes live when Brannan hits the road for a U.S. tour, kicking off on July 8.
