Pela recently sang some amazing new songs at the studio up in Seattle. This band out of Brooklyn is now on my radar. Previously, I had known of them but they had not really made a deep impression until I saw these videos. Coincidentally, I was getting to the point of saturation listening and reviewing heaps of new music lately for the blog. Then, along comes Pela and suddenly, after hearing, Juarez on KEXP performed, my music palette has been renewed. Thank you Juarez for the heart and soul you put into your music!
