I just got a listen to a couple of tracks off EJ’s new album “Inshalla” and really like the new sound. Its a bit softer than their normal Hi Fi material for example, “Black Fingernails, Red Wine”. but a nice change of pace.
Eskimo Joe have just returned from a European tour and have come home to the news that their latest single, ‘Foreign Land’ came in as the #1 Most Added Song at radio and after two weeks on air is already riding high in the Top 20 of the Australian airplay chart.
I saw this band back in 2005 in Sydney. They have taken giant leaps forward, from 2001’s ‘Girl’ to 2004’s ‘A Song Is A City’ and on to the fourtimes-platinum hit ‘Black Fingernails, Red Wine’. It appears they have stepped up to again prove why they are a band that has enduring stamina in their craft.
