Wooden Arms and Lasting Change
2009 June 17
Patrick Watson’s “Wooden Arms” has a nice ebb and flow effect on you like the water spilling up and splashing into a rocky shoreline.. it fills all the voids, enveloping the rocky crags and smoothing out the rough edges. It may hit you when you least expect it but you can count on it rising to meet you at some point and in the end you have changed, a bit of you has passed away, a better part of you is left there standing above it all, watching and waiting for the next wave to come along and bring more lasting change.
