New LCD Soundsystem, “Bye Bye Bayou” Suicide Cover

James Murphy and co. stated that he will release a 12″ single for “Bye Bye Bayou” via DFA/Virgin Records. “Bye Bye Bayou” is actually a cover from the Suicide’s Alan Vega’s self-titled 1980 debut album.
James Murphy recently announced on the LCD Facebook page that the next LCD album would be out in March 2010.
“Bye Bye Bayou” won’t appear on that album.
