Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon perform a song off their new album, Between My Head and the Sky. We loved the guitar on this song, check out Yoko’s screams and Exorcist like howling, she’s pretty damn cool for a 78 year old hey?
The band debuted onstage in Toronto 40 years ago this month, the Plastic Ono Band. Although its always been more of a collaboration rather than a formal lineup. It’s current line up consists of Yoko, her son Sean, his former partner Yuka Honda (ex-Cibo Matto), and fellow Japanese art-pop maverick Cornelius, among others. Pitchfork gives the new album a 7.3, check out the review
