YACHT Performs “Waste of Time” on DWTB
Portland’s YACHT founder Bechtolt and new member/girlfriend Claire L. Evans make anthemic power jams, play them backwards and soak them in nearly-psychedelic cherry cola inspired live shows. When it comes to eating, YACHT are staunch vegans (meaning they consume no animal byproduct), whipping up dishes like chicken picado, sausage & eggs and sautéed halibut which they transfer to karma free, gastronomic delicacies like seitan picado, tofu scamble and buttery, sautéed eggplant. Sam cooks up Pyschic City (Chicken of the Woods Mushroom) Picado and Summer Bok choy. To wash it down, he will stir up his Lovage Sour, a Lovage infused grain alcohol with vermouth and gin. We are thinking we can try this one at home – just keep the vermouth and gin a coming!
