We were first on the bus for SF Valley California raised sister duo, Haim, but have been backing off from thier live coverage as we felt the fast past fame had watered down their performances this year but we’re glad we tuned back in for a peek at their Coachella set as they definitely sharpened their game knives up for this big event on Day 1 of Coachella. Watch as they perform above. Anecdotal information, Este Haim shared during the set that she had been attending Coachella since 2004 (10 years) and this was the first time she had paid for the chance! She went on to say that she would climb the fence, crawl through thorny rose bushes, run from angry security guards, anything to be a part of this festival… !!!!
Other highlights of Day 1 at the festival were MS MR, Dum Dum Girls, Woodkid, Bryan Ferry, Wye Oak. We’ll try to post what we can today on these bands.
